Ryan opened the financial law firm in August of 2013. Prior to this, Ryan worked as an associate attorney for Robert J. Semrad & Associates. He focused on bankruptcy, foreclosure, and estate planning.
While at RJS, He worked with over 500 Chapter 13 bankruptcy cases, along with more than 1000 Chapter 7 bankruptcies. In the spring of 2013, Ryan Waite worked as a financial law advisor at the Law Offices of Jason Landgraf. While at the Landgraf Law Firm, Ryan Waite was responsible for overseeing the Bankruptcy Law Department.
Mr. Waite completed his undergraduate studies at Saint Ambrose University, with an emphasis in Political Science & Business Administration. Ryan Waite was a two-time letter winner for the Saint Ambrose football team. He went on to receive his Juris Doctorate, or law degree, from The John Marshall Law School in 2011. While in law school, Ryan was a law clerk for the Honorable Thomas L. Hogan in the Law Division at the Daley Center in Chicago, Illinois

Colleen Merkle is a paralegal with over 20 years of experience in Real Estate. She has an understanding of local real estate laws and regulations and is known for her dedication to providing clients with excellent care and service with attention to detail during transactions. She enjoys meeting and working with clients and takes great pride in the relationships that are formed. She has strong project management skills, attention to detail, enjoys and excels at research and works well under pressure.
Colleen was born and raised in Boston, MA and has been an IL resident since 2004. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and enjoys attending music festivals and concerts. She is also very fond of her 4 dogs, is a passionate advocate for animal rights and is a Volunteer for Veterans through Caring Patriots.
MICHELLE JONES
Attorney Assistant
Michelle Jones has been working in the Real Estate field since 2014 and has enjoyed being part of the Waite Law Team for many years now. Michelle is a wife, mother and grandmother who thrives on taking care of people’s needs and excels in her work ethic with strong interpersonal skills. She enjoys the details of each new contract and looks forward to interacting with new clients while providing them with the care and support needed during their transitions of buying/selling their homes.
Michelle attended Bevill State Community College for Office Administration and was hired by an Attorney from Reli Title in Birmingham, AL, where she began to learn the many facets of Title work and Real Estate. After moving back home to Illinois with her family she continued in Real Estate and enjoys working with people in a field where she is ever learning and growing while assisting others.
